JUNIORS: EDUCATION IS KEY
DEVELOPING PLAYERS ON AND OFF THE FIELD
Currently fielding 21 Junior Teams, WHFC is proud to have a focus on developing talented football players but also educating our kids off the field.
Our Technical Directors are experienced along with our our Coaches being qualified, allowing our Juniors to have the best chance of expanding their talents whether it’s in football as a player or themselves becoming coaches in our MiniRoos Program or Referees.
2019 saw the creation of the Watsonia Heights Cultural Exchange Program for our U13 and U14 kids. In our first year, WHFC went to Abruzzo located in Italy.
Each year kids at WHFC will have the ability to participate in the Cultural Exchange Program and travel to another country to live like professional football players and be introduced to another culture’s traditions, history, beliefs and etiquette whilst allowing the kids to experience a unique opportunity
We believe that education is the key to success, and the Cultural Exchange Program is just one of the many ways we have introduced education to the WHFC community.
